LifeSensors — Performance, Security & Headless Rebuild
Took a slow, bot-flooded scientific e-commerce site back to stable performance, then started a full headless rebuild on Laravel and Next.js with an AI assistant trained on the company's own research library.
Challenge
Scraping bots and malware held the server at 100% CPU, the database had passed 1 GB of mostly fake accounts, and customers in China couldn't load the site.
What I did
-
Wrote Cloudflare WAF rules, removed about 24,000 bot accounts while keeping all 3,302 real customers, moved cron to the server and fixed access from mainland China.
-
Then started a headless rebuild on Laravel 12 and Next.js with a Filament admin, mandatory 2FA, and an AI assistant trained on 958 research PDFs.
