Terms of Service
These are the terms I work under with clients: what a quote means, how payment works, what each side is responsible for, and who owns the finished work. If something here does not fit your project, say so before we start and we will agree it in writing.

Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between Ahmed Imtiaz Galib ("I", "me"), a freelance web developer based in Bangladesh, and you, the client. They apply to the work described in a written quote that you accept, and together with that quote they form the whole agreement between us.
Quotes and scope
Every project is quoted individually, against the requirement you describe. A quote:
- lists what is included and, where it matters, what is not;
- is valid for 30 days from the date on it;
- becomes an agreement when you accept it in writing (email is enough).
Work begins against the agreed scope. Anything that is not in it — an extra page, a new integration, a change of direction — is a change to the scope and is quoted separately before it starts. No published range on this site is an offer of a price.
Payment
The amount, the schedule and the currency are set out in the quote. Unless the quote says otherwise:
- a deposit of 50% is payable before work starts, and the balance before the finished work is handed over or the site goes live;
- invoices are payable within 7 days;
- international clients pay by Payoneer, ACH bank transfer or Taptap Send, or through the platform when the project is ordered on Fiverr or Upwork;
- clients in Bangladesh pay by bKash or Bangladeshi bank transfer;
- the client pays any transfer fee their side adds;
- the final files, the repository and any account handover are released once the balance has cleared.
If an invoice goes unpaid, work on the project — and on anything else in progress for the same client — may be paused until it is settled.
Revisions
Each agreed milestone includes two rounds of revisions: you review the work on real devices, say what is not right, and I adjust it. Revisions that stay inside the agreed scope are included; a revision that changes the scope, the design direction or the technology is quoted as new work.
After the project is complete, the support described in the quote begins. Work beyond it is quoted separately.
Timelines
A timeline in a quote is given in good faith and is based on the scope, on feedback arriving when it is needed, and on third-party services behaving. It is not a guarantee.
Dates move when the client is late with content, access, decisions or feedback, or when a third-party service — a host, a payment gateway, an API — is unavailable. I will tell you early if a date is at risk, rather than at the deadline.
What the client is responsible for
To keep a project moving, the client agrees to:
- supply content, images, logins and access when they are needed;
- reply to questions and review each milestone within a reasonable time;
- make sure they have the right to use everything they send — text, images, fonts, logos, data;
- keep their own backups of the content once the site is live, and of any data they hold;
- pay for third-party costs: hosting, domains, plugins, licences and subscriptions.
Third-party services
Most projects use something that belongs to someone else: a hosting account, a plugin, a theme, a payment gateway, an API. Those services are governed by their own terms, their prices are theirs to change, and their availability is not in my control. I choose and configure them carefully, but I am not responsible for their outages, their decisions or their fees.
Intellectual property
The content the client supplies stays the client's throughout. The work I produce for the project — the code, the design and the configuration built for it — becomes the client's once the final payment has been received. Until then it remains mine.
Third-party libraries, frameworks and plugins keep their own licences, and this agreement does not transfer them. Unless you ask me not to, I may show the finished work in my portfolio and describe it in general terms.
Confidentiality
Anything you tell me that is not public — your plans, your figures, your customers, your credentials — is treated as confidential and is not shared with anyone else. The same care is expected in the other direction. This continues after the project ends.
Limitation of liability
The work is delivered to the agreed scope and, where the quote says so, with a support period after launch. Beyond that:
- my total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees paid for that project;
- I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost business or lost data;
- nothing here limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
The client is responsible for keeping their own backups once the work is handed over.
Termination
Either side may end the agreement by writing to the other. If it ends:
- work completed up to that point is invoiced and payable, whether or not it has been handed over;
- the deposit is not refundable once work has started, because it covers time already spent;
- anything already paid for and completed is handed over.
Governing law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If a disagreement arises, we will first try to settle it directly and in good faith; if that does not work, the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh, have jurisdiction.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated for future work, and the date at the top of this page changes when they are. The version that applies to your project is the one that was published when you accepted the quote.
